Places To See And Things To Do

South House Farm at Boggle Hole is ideally placed twixt Whitby, Scarborough and the coastal side of the North York Moors, with attractions to suit all tastes.

Whitby is a delightful fishing port and the home of Captain Cooke and the Endeavour. The town is steeped in history with its ruined Abbey and the steep Abbey stairs. Bram Stoker drew his inspiration here for his most famous novel 'Dracula'.

Robin Hood's Bay is just a short distance away and has many narrow passage ways that tumble down to the sea. This is a most unique place to visit, where cars are not generally allowed. Visit the antique and coffee shops to make your trip here complete.

Inland the North York Moors host the 'Heartbeat' village of Goathland. Harwood Dale and Dalby Forest are all ideal for walkers and cyclists, as is the Cleveland Way which passes close by.

There are many local pubs and restaurants within easy reach to cater for all your dining requirements.

We look forward to welcoming you soon at South House Farm.
